Role Description:

This is a contract role for a General Psychologist, or Clinical Psychologist. The Psychologist will be responsible for predominantly providing individual therapy and developing treatment plans, with opportunities to conduct psychological assessments. This is a hybrid role, with work being performed at home and on-site at Wynyard Medical Centre.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Knowledge of best-practice interventions
• Experience working with diverse populations
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Minimum one year experience with demonstrated knowledge of evidenced based practices
• Generally Registered or Clinical Psychologist (AHPRA registered)
• It is desirable that you hold a Medicare Provider Number (though, support can be given to attain this).

About You:

• Experience working with NDIS clients is highly desirable
• Experience working with clients across the lifespan who present with various presentations
• Ability to work independently and able to commit to the clients referred to you by Calm Minds Clinic (at a minimum of two days per week)
• Own ABN (or have willingness to obtain one)
• Own computer/ laptop to engage with clients who prefer to be seen via Telehealth (must also have stable internet connection and a private workspace whilst working from home).

• Current Police check
• Current Working with Children (WWC) check

Pay: $100.00 – $140.00 per hour
