Job Description

We're inviting expressions of interest from talented project delivery professionals to join our Melbourne team as we continue to expand our data center portfolio across the region. The responsibilities include:

To lead and manage complex projects and programs as the key client interfaceDeveloping working relationships, problem solving and driving projects to successful completionManaging the design process to achieve the client's requirements and manage expectationsReviewing project plans and specifications, scheduling, costs saving measures, discrepancies, potential construction problems, etcManaging project safety and environmental requirementsManaging project timelines, risks and reportingManaging project budgets and advising on options to keep budget on trackBeing engaged with marketing and business development initiativesCo-ordinating vendor scope with overall project deliveryContract Execution: Drafting contract documents in strict accordance with legal approved contract templates. Working closely with project team/s to ensure effective and timely document processing and management of contract documentsBring strong communication, conflict resolution and negotiation skills

Qualifications

Technical understanding of Data Centre Infrastructure – HVAC, Electrical, Generators, Fire, Security and BMSProfessional/tertiary qualification in project management, engineering or constructionA minimum of 5 - 10 years project management experience, preferably gained within a Data Centre or similar technical environment. A thorough understanding of the total project life cycle, from project inception stage, design, authority approvals through to construction completion and post-project reviewExcellent knowledge and experience of all of the main project management concepts, tools and techniquesAbility to thrive in a high pressure, fast paced environmentAdvanced Microsoft skills are essential and Primavera skills will be highly regardedExcellent command of written and spoken English with excellent report and bid writing skillsHighly motivated and driven with a passion for delivering to your client
