Estimator for Steel Fabrication company

Responsibilities include:

·         Develop accurate quotations/tenders in accordance with tender drawings/specifications

·         Develop technical cost plans by estimating and measuring quantities from architectural and structural drawings.

·         Negotiate procurement and seek competitive material prices.

·         Handle all subcontractor interactions and build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.

·         Coordinating with the site foreman and workshop to ensure projects are on schedule for project installation.

·         Communicate commercial project specifications and contractual scoop of work to on-site contractors/employees.

·         Prepare Safety Management plans, SWMS and execution documents.

·         Project Coordinator and Administrator until completion of project.

Our ideal candidate will have: 

·         1-2 years estimating experience

·         Experienced in metal fabrication processes and drawings is desired

·         Project coordination experience and capabilities

·         Extensive knowledge of steel material

· General bookeeping desired

·         Sound working knowledge of MS Excel, Word & outlook

·         Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills

·         Proactive multitasking and time management skills

·         Clear written and verbal communication skills
