Full-time Truck Driver (MR License Required)

We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver with an MR (Medium Rigid) license to join our team immediately on a Full-Time basis. As a Full Time Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods and materials to designated locations.

Safely operate a medium rigid truck to transport goods and materials as per assigned schedules.
Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing of items to prevent damage during transit.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck to ensure its safety and roadworthiness.
Adhere to all traffic regulations and company policies while operating the vehicle.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of deliveries, including the completion of delivery logs and any necessary documentation.
Communication effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members to ensure smooth and efficient delivery operations.
Report any vehicle malfunctions or issues to the appropriate personnel for maintenance or repairs.
Assist with the general maintenance and cleanliness of the truck.
Requirements:

Valid MR (Medium Rigid) driver's license.

Valid Forklift Ticket
Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably with experience towing trailers and experience in the transportation or logistics industry.
Excellent driving skills and a clean driving record.
Good knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.

Minimum 1-2 years of truck driving experience required.

Good Knowledge of Heavy Vehicle Log Book use, NHVR requirements and oversize regulations.

Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and loading cargo.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Flexibility to work on a Full-Time Basis, including weekends and public holidays, as required including some overnight stays away from home.
