Your new role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and suitably experienced person for the role of Budget and Accounting Officer.

This is a Fixed Term Full Time appointment for 6 months with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.

As a member of Finance, you will be responsible for:

• Providing support and assistance to the Manager, Budget and Planning to effectively manage, forecast and report on the HSS budget position.
• Preparing monthly and ad-hoc management accounting reports.
• Undertaking and resolving complex finance and accounting queries, including providing corrective action items.
• Assisting with the preparation of month end, and year-end processes.
• Providing timely, accurate and useful advice, insightful analysis and reporting to inform decision making on the allocation of resources, including the identification of financial risks and mitigation options.
