Senior Accounts Officer

We're looking for a capable Senior Accounts Officer to join our Head Office team in Pinkenba. You'll work across the finance function of a national business, with exposure to reporting, budgeting, controls and day-to-day accounting operations, directly alongside our Financial Controller.

What You'll Be Doing

General ledger and month-end processesProcessing weekly payroll and completing payroll reconciliationsPreparing P&L and balance sheet reportsOverseeing and supporting AP and AR functionsInvestigating discrepancies and resolving accounting issuesAssisting with internal and external auditsWorking closely with the Financial Controller on broader finance matters

What We're Looking For

Tertiary qualification in accounting or finance (preferred)Experience processing payrollStrong problem-solving skills and commercial thinkingStrong Excel and financial analysis skillsPronto or Employment Hero experience is a bonus, not a requirementAvailability to work full-time from our Pinkenba office
