CNC Machinist

About the Opportunity

Swanson Industries is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our busy workshop in Lambton on day shift.

You will utilise your CNC programming expertise to set, run and operate CNC machines, working across a diverse range of jobs that will keep you engaged and technically challenged.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Operating Mazatrol, Doosan and Okuma lathes
• Creating and editing CNC programs
• Producing components to tight tolerances
• Interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
• Conducting accurate measurements and quality checks
• Participating in toolbox talks and safety initiatives.

About You

• Relevant Mechanical Trade qualification (essential)
• CNC machining experience (hydraulics experience desirable)
• Strong ability to measure and work from samples (highly regarded)
• Ability to achieve precision and maintain quality standards
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for reporting and documentation
• A safety-first mindset and strong team ethic
