Industrial Electrician

We are a proud, local, family-owned electrical contracting business based in the Townsville region. We specialise in electrical repairs and maintenance, with a strong focus on controls and automation within the manufacturing and heavy industry sectors.

Due to ongoing growth, we are seeking a motivated, full-time Industrial Electrician to join our close-knit team.

In this position, you will work across various heavy industrial and manufacturing sites around Townsville. Your day-to-day duties will include:

• Working on switchboards and MCC control rooms.

• Attending breakdowns and performing fault finding for a variety of plant and machinery.

• Installation and maintenance of VSD/Soft starters and control equipment.

• Routine preventive maintenance (including Test & Tag, RCD, and Emergency Stop testing).

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

• A current QLD Electrical Licence.

• A current manual driver’s licence.

• A current QLD Construction Card (White Card).

• Current CPR & LVR certifications.

• The ability to work cohesively within a team, as well as unsupervised.

• Exposure to automation controls and instrumentation is highly desirable, but not essential.
