E&I Technician

Our client specialises in various sectors across the water and waste management sectors. Due to growth, they are seeking an experienced E & I Technician, with strong heavy industry fixed plant experience, based in Kwinana.

Details:
Location: Kwinana
Rate of Pay: $80/hr + Super
Contract: On-going
Hours of work: Monday – Friday, 40 hour week (Overtime as required)
  
About the Role:
This position will see you responsible for working on a brownfields project.  
You will be responsible for, but not limited to;

• Coordinate construction team site inspections
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
• Assist with integration of the newly commissioned assets with the existing plant (testing and commissioning)
• Be part of an On-Call roster that provides after-hours maintenance support services to the Operations Technicians in the event of unplanned events.
• Preventative and reactive maintenance of the plant

  
To be Successful:
To be successful in the position, you will possess:

• III or IV in Instrumentation and Control/Electrical (essential)
• WA Electrical Workers Licence (essential)
• HV Switching (Essential)
• Minimum 3 years’ maintenance experience in water treatment (or heavy industry)
• Strong Instrumentation experience
• Construction White Card
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
