Medical Laboratory Scientist/Technician- Histology - Brisbane

InfinityPATH is a rapidly growing, 24 hour Histopathology laboratory, located in Underwood, Brisbane. InfinityPATH consists of a passionate team of people who are focused on quality service for our doctors, patients and colleagues. InfinityPATH is one of the largest and fastest-growing independent private pathology labs in Australia.

We are expanding and recruiting multiple Histology experienced Medical Laboratory Scientists, Technicians and Laboratory Assistants to join our dedicated team. You must be a self-starter, proactive, dynamic, reliable, flexible, adaptive to change, care about our patient outcomes and be a committed part of our team.

We are seeking team members available Monday to Friday, plus rotational weekend shifts.

Primary Laboratory Scientist/Technician Skills:

The successful candidate must meet at least 2 of the essential primary skills selection criteria below:

• Histology Dissection Skills Essential - Experience in Simple and Complex Skin Dissection essential

• Histology Embedding Skills Essential

• Histology Sectioning Skills Essential

• Experience within a histology laboratory Essential

• Knowledge of Histology Special Stains and Immunohistochemistry

• Hold an AIMS Accredited Medical Laboratory Science Degree 

Additional Laboratory Scientist/Technician Tasks may include:

• Specimen Reception

• Slide send-away

• External stakeholder communications
