Join a highly regarded Melbourne institution with a 90+ year history of making a meaningful difference to the community.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Talent Specialist to join the organisation on an initial 3–6 month contract. Reporting to the Head of HR, you will play a key role in supporting the business through end-to-end recruitment, partnering closely with hiring managers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality talent outcomes.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on recruitment professional who enjoys working in a purpose-driven environment and can quickly build trusted relationships across a diverse organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with hiring managers to deliver end-to-end recruitment, providing proactive advice, coaching and support throughout the recruitment process.
Support talent and workforce planning across recruitment, selection, onboarding and induction.
Develop strong relationships with hiring managers and stakeholders, providing practical and commercially focused recruitment advice.
Ensure recruitment processes meet relevant legislative, compliance and organisational requirements, including working rights, reference checks and onboarding documentation.
Provide a positive and engaging candidate experience, ensuring candidates receive timely communication, feedback and follow-up throughout the process.
Manage multiple vacancies concurrently, ensuring recruitment activity is delivered efficiently and within agreed timeframes.
About You
To be successful in this hands on role, you will be an experienced recruitment professional with a strong track record of managing end-to-end recruitment across multiple roles and stakeholder groups.
You will bring:
Proven experience in talent acquisition or internal recruitment.
Strong stakeholder management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to effectively prioritise competing deadlines.
A strong understanding of recruitment compliance and best practice.
A creative and effective sourcing toolkit, with the ability to identify and engage hard-to-find talent.
