Procurement Officer

Techrite is a leading manufacturer and supplier of gas controls and equipment. We exclusively represent global OEMs of gas safety controls and gas systems in Australia and looking to expand our team in Victoria.

We are seeking an energetic, hardworking and self-motivated Procurement officer for our Springvale based National office.

The successful applicant will:

• Find and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery speed.

• Experience within a procurement and logistics environment.

• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and service agreements with vendors and freight forwarders.

• Analyze spending patterns and find ways to reduce costs without compromising quality.

• Ensure vendor performance meets standards and company purchasing rules are followed.

• Import costing/ shipment processing.

• Assist in Stock-takes and ad-hoc warehousing duties.

• Excellent communication (written and oral) and organizational skills.

This is a part time contract role for 3-4 days per week with the view to become permanent.

The role involves working as part of a team, so communication skills are essential. You will need to be a safety focused worker, have a great set of work ethics and be a reliable team member. You will need your own transport and 2 contactable referees.
