About the Opportunity

Kidscape Early Learning Centre is looking for a full-time 2IC/ Educational Leader (Dual Role) based in Ballarat, Victoria.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Overseeing staffing levels, routines, recruitment, and professional development of educators;

• Time management and communication skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience as 2IC ( preferred)

• Experience as Educational Leader

• Experience using Qikkids, OWNA preferred

• A commitment to best practice and early years learning

• Demonstrated leadership skills and commitment to mentoring team members.

• An understanding of the National Quality Framework, National Law & Regulations and the Assessment and Rating Process.

• An understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and Kindergarten Learning Guidelines.

• A commitment to ongoing professional learning and personal growth.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative

About You

To qualify, you will need at least a Diploma Early Childhood Education and Care and 2 years of experience (preferred, may consider less experience in this role).

You must also hold:

• First Aid qualification in an Education and Care Setting

• Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management certification

• Valid Working with Children Check

• Accredited Child Protection Training
