Quality Assurance Associate

We have a great opportunity available for a compliance focused person who is interested in joining the Quality Assurance team based at the Penrith manufacturing facility.  

This position is responsible for management of the day-to-day disposition of incoming goods and release for supply of products that meet quality specifications and regulatory compliance.

Your key areas of accountability for this role include:

• Disposition of incoming goods (raw materials and packaging) and release for supply of finished product

• Management of assigned disposition systems

• Writing procedures

• Continuous improvement

• Compliance projects

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Good knowledge of quality principles and GMP

• Good writing skills

• Basic project management skills

• Able to work as part of a team and cross-functionally

• Problem solving abilities

• Strong attention to detail

• Excellent communication skills

• Basic risk management skills

• Ability to adhere to procedures and deadlines

In addition, your ability to analyse problems and situations, along with you excellent planning skills will be highly regarded.  A tertiary qualification in science and/or quality management will go a long way to helping you in this role.  A certificate in Quality Auditing is desirable.
