About Hemingway Thornhill Park Aspire Early Education & Kindergarten
Hemingway Thornhill Park is our exciting new service opening soon in one of Melbourne's rapidly growing western communities.
Designed with beautiful indoor and outdoor learning environments, premium educational resources and thoughtfully designed spaces, the centre will provide exceptional education and care for children aged 0–6 years.
As part of the foundation team, you'll have the unique opportunity to influence the centre's culture, establish strong educational practices and build meaningful relationships with families from the very beginning.
About the Role As our Educational Leader, you'll play a critical role in establishing and maintaining high-quality educational practice across the service.
Working collaboratively with the Centre Leadership Team, you will support educators, mentor teams and embed a culture of reflective practice and continuous improvement.
You will: - Lead and establish high-quality educational programs across all rooms
- Coach, mentor and support educators to build capability and confidence
- Guide curriculum planning, documentation and reflective practice
- Embed Aspire's Connect. Learn. Grow. philosophy across the service
- Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF)
- Drive continuous improvement and prepare the service for future quality outcomes
- Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families and educators
- Partner closely with the Centre Manager to establish a positive and collaborative team culture
- Support the successful opening and ongoing growth of the service
About You You are a confident, inspiring and collaborative leader who is excited by the opportunity to build something special from the ground up.
You will bring: - ACECQA-approved Diploma or higher (Bachelor of Early Childhood Education highly regarded)
- Proven experience as an Educational Leader (preferred in medium to large services)
- Strong understanding of the EYLF, VEYLDF, National Quality Framework and best practice in early childhood education
- A coaching and mentoring leadership style
- The ability to establish consistent, high-quality educational practices
- Excellent communication, organisation and relationship-building skills
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current Police Check
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications
