Maintenance Coordinator

About the role

Spectra-Ingenuity are seeking an experienced and motivated Maintenance Coordinator to join our team in Toowoomba, QLD.  This full-time role will report to the Operations Coordinator and responsibilities will include:

• Manage and maintain maintenance of assets in the Toowoomba workshop including:
   - Preventative maintenance management for the equipment fleet
   - Maintenance of field equipment
   - Upkeep of operational assets

• Utilise the existing MEX CMMS system

• Implement, track and monitor maintenance programs for field equipment and vehicle fleet

• Actively contribute to asset lifecycle planning and replacement strategy

• Carry out mechanical repairs on equipment to a high standard as required

• Develop field crew assessment program in relation to equipment preventative maintenance programs

• Assistance with field training of Spectra personnel in maintenance of equipment

• Review and develop standard operating procedures for regular workshop tasks

• Oversee regulatory compliance in workshop operations, in particular QA and safety systems

• Assist in preparation and compliance for annual ISO audits

• Provide assistance to HSEQ Manager where required

What we’re looking for

Skills

• Trade qualified mechanic or fitter preferred

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills including writing clearly and presenting numerical data effectively, attention to detail

• Effective interpersonal skills and ability to maintain confidentiality

• Display a high level of mechanical aptitude

• Demonstrated ability to manage own time, use time effectively and prioritise workloads

• Computer literacy including the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet browsing programs

Knowledge

• Demonstrated knowledge of customer service principles and protocols

• Knowledge of supplier communications and relationships

• Knowledge of efficient workshop operations, workflows and processes

• Understanding of basic supply chain principles
