About the Role

Reporting directly to the Riverina Operations Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering building maintenance, repair, and improvement works across a diverse range of client sites.

This is a hands-on position that offers variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to utilise your trade skills across multiple disciplines. No two days are the same, making it an ideal role for someone who enjoys solving problems and delivering high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day duties may include:

• General building maintenance and repairs

• Carpentry and minor construction works

• Basic plastering, painting, and tiling

• Landscaping and grounds maintenance, including mowing and gardening

• Planning and coordinating maintenance activities

• Liaising with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders

• Ensuring all works are completed safely and in accordance with company policies and procedures

• Operating tools and equipment safely and effectively

• Undertaking other duties within your skills, qualifications, and experience

What We're Looking For

Essential Requirements

• Trade qualification in Carpentry, Building, or a related field

• Construction Industry White Card

• Silica and Asbestos Awareness certification

• Current Driver's Licence (manual licence preferred)

• Ability to tow a trailer

• Strong knowledge of building materials, tools, and maintenance practices

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail

• Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks

• Current National Police Check, or willingness to obtain one

Desirable Qualifications

The following tickets and licences will be highly regarded:

• Elevated Work Platform (EWP)

• Working at Heights

• First Aid Certificate

• Excavator and/or Skid Steer VOC

• Medium Rigid (MR) or Heavy Rigid (HR) Licence
