Deputy Principal (Secondary) - Redbank Plains State High School

Redbank Plains State High School is seeking an experienced and motivated educational leader to join our leadership team as Deputy Principal.

This role provides an exciting opportunity to work in partnership with the Executive Principal, Executive Leadership Team, staff, students and the wider community to lead strategic school improvement initiatives and deliver high-quality educational outcomes for all students.

This is a temporary full-time position to commence until 11 December 2026, unless otherwise determined.

As Deputy Principal, you will support the Executive Principal in leading the day-to-day operations and long-term strategic direction of the school, while fostering a culture of high expectations, inclusion, wellbeing and continuous improvement.

The successful applicant will play a key role in shaping a positive learning environment that promotes student engagement, achievement and success across all aspects of school life.This role has specific responsibility for the leadership of Years 9 and 10, Student Services and attendance, ensuring a coordinated and proactive approach to student wellbeing, engagement and support.Redbank Plains State High School is seeking a future-focused and values-driven leader who demonstrates strong organisational capability, strategic thinking and a commitment to equity and excellence in education.Working collaboratively with staff and stakeholders, the successful applicant will lead initiatives that strengthen teaching and learning, build staff capability and enhance outcomes for students across the school community.
