MATHEMATICS TEACHER (PART TIME)

Perth College is seeking an experienced Mathematics Teacher to join our vibrant learning community. The successful candidate will be passionate about Mathematics education, committed to inspiring students to achieve their full potential, and eager to make a meaningful contribution to the wider School community.

This is a permanent part-time position commencing in 2027, with an FTE ranging from 0.52 to 0.70. As Perth College operates on a five-day timetable, the successful applicant will be required to work across all five days.

The role involves teaching Mathematics in our Senior School and supporting students to achieve academic success within a positive, engaging and inclusive learning environment. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of the mathematics curriculum up to WACE level or equivalent.

The passion, flexibility and willingness to teach a range of levels across the senior school mathematics curriculum would be highly desirable.

• A relevant tertiary qualification and recognised teaching qualification, or equivalent, appropriate to the position

• Current registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia

• Current Working with Children Check

• Experience teaching Senior School Mathematics, with the ability to teach ATAR Mathematics

• Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills

• Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to share expertise, resources and best practice

• A demonstrated passion for Mathematics education, with the ability to engage students in problem-solving, critical thinking and mathematical reasoning

• A commitment to fostering academic excellence and supporting the diverse learning needs of students
