Forklift Operator – Afternoon & Nights

Full-Time | Forrestfield, WA

Pay Rate - $32.75 to $39.94

Afternoon Start Time - 11am

Night Start Time - 5pm

At Sands Fridge Lines, we're looking for a reliable and motivated Forklift Operator to join our busy Forrestfield team. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a respected Western Australian transport company with a strong reputation for service, safety, and teamwork.

About the Role

In this hands-on position, you'll play a key role in supporting our warehouse and transport operations. Working in a busy food distribution environment, you'll be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of freight while ensuring accuracy, productivity, and compliance with workplace safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Picking customer orders accurately and efficiently

• Packing, wrapping, and strapping freight for dispatch

• Loading and unloading trucks and transport vehicles

• Operating forklifts safely in warehouse and yard environments

• Sorting, reworking, and rewrapping food products as required

• Performing general yard and warehouse duties

• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area

• Supporting stock movements and inventory activities

• Completing basic administration and scanning tasks

• Following WHS procedures, company policies, and operational processes

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• A current LF Forklift Licence

• Previous forklift operating experience in a warehouse, transport, or logistics environment

• A strong commitment to workplace safety and safe work practices

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

• The ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Good communication and basic literacy skills

• Experience using RF scanners or handheld picking devices (desirable)

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn

• The physical capability to undertake manual handling tasks and remain active throughout the shift

Previous experience working with food, refrigerated freight, or FMCG products will be highly regarded.
