Pharmacy Background:  Priceline Pharmacy is one of Australia's leading health and beauty destinations offering unique products.  Our growing store in the beautiful village of Mt Eliza is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to join our team.

About the Role:  There are 20+ hours per week on offer during the weekdays, Monday to Friday 9am-5pm.

Our ideal Pharmacy Assistant will support and drive the goals of the store by delivering genuine connections with our customers with a little touch of magic.  You will deliver exceptional customer service to enrich the lives of our customers and create trust in the Priceline Brand.  As a Pharmacy Assistant you will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our pharmacy, assisting our pharmacists in delivering high quality healthcare to the local community. This is a part -time position, offering a supportive work environment and the opportunity to deliver your skills in a thriving pharmacy environment.

The successful candidate will:

• Pose a friendly, positive attitude with a team-player mentality

• Provide friendly and efficient customer service, answering queries and assisting customers with their needs

• Assist with the processing of prescriptions and other administrative tasks.

• Promote health and wellness products and services to customers

• Maintain accurate records and inventory control of pharmaceutical stock

• Participate in staff training and professional development

• Adhere to all relevant health, safety and regulatory guidelines

• Be well groomed and presented at all times

Store Operation Focus:

• Support the Retail Manager in maintaining stock levels, displays, and promotions. Assisting the Pharmacist in taking in scripts answering queries and assisting customers with their ends.

• Expectational Customer Service skills

• Maintaining a clean and organised work environment

• Be capable of demonstrating a knowledge of the relevant systems needed to operate the store 

• Possess a keen attention to detail

• During consultations, find ways to discuss the benefits of Pulse Rewards membership, offer to sign new members up and explain the most relevant rewards that can be earned 

The following skills and experience

• S2/S3 Certificate is required

• Eftpos, point of sale and cash handling experience essential

• Previous experience as a Pharmacy Assistant in Community Pharmacy

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide excellent customer service.

• Possess a Certificate II in Pharmacy Retail operations
