5D Surveying

5D Surveying is looking for another Surveyor to assist with surveys and projects all across Regional Victoria.

We have an office in East Bendigo and focus on supplying services to Bendigo, Echuca, Shepperton and surrounds. We have a lot of work across the region and for the right candidate you can work out of each location mentioned remotely or out of our main office in Bendigo East.

5D Surveying Equipment

At 5D Surveying our choice of software is 12d Model and we use 12d Field & 12d Synergy cloud. Our instruments are Leica TS15's & 16's with Geomate GPS units which hook up to the 12d platform with ease. Along with our conventional surveying services we have aerial Drones for feature Surveys and other mapping uses.

The Role

The new Surveyors role will include supporting Survey Managers in supplying call outs for:

• Construction & Engineering projects- large and small

• House & Unit setouts

• Drone Surveys

• Civil Constructions & Subdivision work

• Feature & Level Surveys & laser scanning etc

• Machine control data file creation and site setup/machine checks
  

You will be required to create and upload your own setout files and precomps for surveys, complete all checks on site prior to and during setouts/surveys, draft your own plans and liaise with clients following jobs.

The above is just a short list of what we cover. Our teams enjoy driving in the countryside vs being stuck in the city traffic.

For this role you would ideally have/be:

• Experience in onsite construction and engineering projects.

• Safety orientated mindset

• Proficient in the use of Leica Total stations and use of 12d software is HIGHLY regarded.

• Valid work rights in Australia, current drivers license and construction white card etc.

• The ability to work remotely in some cases and problem solve on site.

• The ability to liaise with clients on site and via email/phone communications while always remaining professional.

• Understanding of architectural, Structural and Civil drawings and the uses and differences between all 3. Critically maintaining and checking drawing revisions before setting anything out on sites.
