Mobile Crushing Superintendent

Norton Gold Fields is seeking an experienced Mobile Crushing Superintendent to join our Crushing & Haulage team at Binduli.

Reporting to the Crushing & Haulage Manager, you will lead the day-to-day performance of our mobile crushing operations, providing direction and support to Crushing Coordinators, Supervisors and operational crews. This is a key leadership role focused on safe production, operational efficiency, team development and cost control.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor and support the mobile crushing leadership and operational teams.

• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company procedures and statutory requirements.

• Coordinate crushing crews and ensure adequate coverage across all shifts.

• Drive the safe achievement of production, utilisation and cost targets while monitoring crushing performance and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and output.

• Manage mobile crushing contractors, including safety, compliance, performance and claims.

• Support the development of operational budgets, forecasts and production plans.

• Implement agreed performance-improvement strategies and operational changes.

• Maintain adequate aggregate stock levels to support operational requirements.

• Prepare clear production, performance and project-progress reports.

To succeed in this position, you will ideally have:

• At least 10 years’ experience within mobile crushing operations.

• Current unrestricted Western Australian C Class driver’s licence.

• Relevant Statutory Supervisor qualifications, including BSBWHS411 and BSBWHS414.

• Demonstrated experience leading mobile crushing teams.

• Strong technical knowledge of crushing equipment, processes and operating parameters.

• Experience optimising crushing performance and achieving production targets.

• Exposure to crushing plant commissioning.

• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder-management skills.

• Experience managing budgets, costs and contractor performance.

• Good computer skills across spreadsheets, presentations, word processing and database systems.
