No prior Radiation Oncology experience is required! Full training and ongoing support will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity to develop specialist skills in a highly rewarding area of nursing.

Working Monday to Friday clinic hours, you'll have your evenings and weekends free while supporting patients throughout their treatment journey and working alongside a collaborative multidisciplinary team.

More specifically, you will:

You will play a key role in delivering safe, coordinated, and patient centred care by:

• Providing high-quality nursing care and support to patients undergoing treatment
• Delivering patient education, symptom management, medication administration and supportive nursing interventions
• Assessing, monitoring, and responding to patients' clinical and emotional needs throughout treatment
• Coordinating patient care to ensure a seamless and positive treatment experience
• Collaborating closely with Radiation Oncologists, Radiation Therapists, and Patient Services teams to deliver integrated care
• Building trusted relationships with patients, carers, and families through compassionate and supportive care
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation to support continuity of care
• Following clinical protocols, policies, and best practice standards
• Applying medication safety principles and infection prevention practices consistently
• Using structured communication tools, including ISBAR, to support safe patient care
• Contributing to a positive, collaborative, and patient focused team culture

You bring both clinical capability and a strong commitment to patient care:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• No prior Radiation Oncology experience is required, with full training provided
• Strong interpersonal and communication skillsA compassionate, patient centred approach to careSound clinical judgement and problem solving skills
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
• A commitment to professional development and continuous improvement
• Experience in wound care management is advantageous
