company that specialises in installation and maintenance of all fire protection systems and

measures. Our Passive Fire division are a team of experienced technicians

that are dedicated to ensuring the highest standards of fire compliance for our clients.

By prioritising quality, safety and reliability, we have established a respected reputation

within the passive fire sector of the fire industry.

Due to our extensive 2026/27 pipeline of passive and fire damper works within Sydney

metropolitan area, we are seeking a skilled and experienced 1 x Passive Technician to join our growing team in Sydney.

This full-time role is working within established teams installing passive fire protection

systems within major exclusive projects in commercial

and residential properties in Sydney CBD.

Competitive salary negotiable depending on the experience and qualifications.

Job tasks and responsibilities

The candidate would be expected to undertake the following tasks:

• Review supplied passive fire manufacture installation specifications
  

• Complete the installation of passive fire protection products within buildings
  

• Be part of a team of hardworking and committed professionals, striving to set the benchmark in the fire industry

• Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure all work meets industry standards and guidelines

• Participate in training to stay up-to-date with the latest passive fire protection and fire damper systems and best practices

• Support the ongoing development and optimisation of our service delivery and internal systems

• UPTICK system experienced or able to be provided with internal system training 
  

Skills and experience

What we are expecting from the right candidate:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Passive Fire Technician or in a similar role

• We are open to experienced tradesmen with plastering skills set or training opportunities

• Commitment to quality and safety

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Professional, well presented & honest

• Highly motivated & driven with close attention to detail

• Strict adherence to the rules and regulations within the trade and OH&S policies and procedures

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills

• No criminal records as many of our clients require a clean police check

• A valid driver's licence

• White card required
