Salary/Level: Level 5, $108,848 - $118,961 p.a. plus Superannuation
Tenure: 24-month fixed-term (from 21 October 2026), full-time position
(with the possibility of extension or permanency)
Location: South Perth (Perth Zoo), Western Australia
The Saving Wildlife Community Coordinator role works within the Discovery and Learning team and has the primary responsibility for the development and delivery of Perth Zoo’s community conservation education and engagement program; Habitats for Wildlife. This position is responsible for the coordination of the program including planning and development, promotion, budgeting, evaluating and reporting on outcomes. It is also responsible for working with the Discovery and Learning Operations Coordinator to develop education experiences that, inspire behaviour change and a greater awareness of Perth Zoo’s role as a modern conservation zoo.
The successful applicant will be required to possess or obtain a current Working With Children Check prior to commencement.
