Position: Apprentice Chef Location: Tanunda, South Australia Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of meals under the supervision of our Head Chef.
• Learn and follow recipes, presentation techniques, and kitchen protocols.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety in the kitchen.
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure efficient and smooth operations.
• Participate in training sessions and skill development workshops.
• Help with the inventory management and procurement of kitchen supplies.
• Contribute to the creative process by bringing fresh ideas and enthusiasm to the team.

Qualifications:

• A genuine passion for cooking and a desire to pursue a career in the culinary arts.
• Basic knowledge of kitchen tools, equipment, and safety protocols is a plus.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and take constructive feedback.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• A commitment to maintaining a positive and professional attitude in a high-paced environment.
