About the Business

Catalyst Metals owns and operates the Plutonic Gold Mine in the Eastern Gascoyne region of Western Australia. The Plutonic Gold Mine produces 85koz of gold annually. The Company also holds the Four Eagles Gold Project in Bendigo.

Over the next 12 to 18 months, the Company plans to bring three new mining areas at Plutonic into production.

Working a 8:6 roster, departing from Perth you'll fly directly to Plutonic arriving within 90mins of departure. Once onsite you are accommodated in a well-established camp that boasts a substantial gym, squash courts, multipurpose court, pool, modern ensuite rooms, just to list some of the facilities.

The Role

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor - Fixed Plant, this position is responsible for ensuring that all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities for the Processing Plant are completed in a safe, accurate and timely manner. 

The ideal candidate will have:

• Australian recognised trade qualification.

• Recent gold processing plant maintenance experience.

• Current "C" Class WA Drivers Licence.

• Current C6 crane licence is essential.

• Current DG, RB, EWP and LF high risk work licence.

• St Johns Senior First Aid certificate (desirable).

• A sound working knowledge of processing plants mechanical - crushing, milling, CIL Paste Plants circuits and associated infrastructure.

• Demonstrated application of safe working procedures and inspection techniques.

• Commitment to safety in the workplace.
