About the JobThe Public Transport Authority (PTA) is seeking an experienced and influential leader to join our Asset & Engineering Management Branch as Manager Infrastructure Control.This pivotal leadership role is responsible for providing strategic and operational direction to the Infrastructure Control function, ensuring the safe monitoring, coordination, and operation of critical infrastructure assets across the PTA network.
Reporting to the Engineering & Asset Management Manager, you will lead a specialist team responsible for supporting the operation of safety-critical infrastructure, coordinating access for maintenance activities, managing major incidents, and driving continuous improvement in asset and network performance.
As a member of the Network & Infrastructure Division Leadership Team, you will contribute to strategic planning, organisational change initiatives, business performance management, and stakeholder engagement across the organisation. This role offers a unique opportunity for an accomplished leader who thrives in complex operational environments and enjoys balancing people leadership, operational oversight, and strategic decision-making.
While experience in a SCADA and asset-intensive environment is desirable, we recognise that strong transferable leadership and operational management skills can be successfully applied in this role.
