As we gear up for a high-paced Spring season, we're expanding our Shutdown team at Karara Mine (near Geraldton) and are on the lookout for skilled and safety-focused Fixed Plant BOILERMAKERS to join the action.

Key ingredients to ensure success in the role:

• Read drawings (esp. Isometric Drawings), work orders and production schedules to determine product or job instructions and specifications.

• Examine work for defects and measure with straightedges or template to ensure conformance with specifications

• Set up and operate hand and power tools such as welding equipment, and oxy equipment.

• Detect faulty operation of equipment and/or defective materials or products and notify supervisors.

• Modify/Repair steelwork sustained from damage, transit and installation, fabrication errors and detailing errors

• Maintain clean safe work environment by complying with procedures, rules and safety.

Essential Requirements for role:

• Demonstrated commitment to safety

• Minimum of 12 months continuous experience as a Fixed Plant Boilermaker, ideally in mining or a similar industry

• Australian or Australian-recognised Mechanical Trade Qualification

• Mask fit testing

• White Card 

• Working at Heights 

• High-risk license 

• Confined Space 

• Gas Testing

• Unlimited Australian Work Rights
