Automation/Industrial Electrican

As an Industrial Electrician at Austech, you will be responsible for delivering safe, reliable electrical services across active industrial sites. Your work will focus on maintaining production uptime, resolving electrical faults efficiently, and completing installation and upgrade works to a high standard.

Candidates must hold an A-Grade electrical licence to be considered for this position.

Applicants must have Australian permanent residency or citizenship to be eligible for this position.

Key duties include:

• Breakdown and reactive electrical maintenance

• Preventative maintenance and fault finding

• Installation, commissioning, and upgrades of industrial electrical systems

• Working on motors, VSDs, control panels, and instrumentation

• Experience with Variable Speed Drives (VSDs) is preferred, with training opportunities available for the right candidate.

• Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics

• Working safely within live production environments

• Liaising with site supervisors, production staff, and the Austech team

This is a hands-on role suited to an electrician who takes pride in quality work and values long-term employment over short-term projects.
