Customer Service Assistant (Yard Person / Driver)

About the role

We are looking for a Customer Service Assistant in a casual position to join our awesome team based at our Warana branch. Your responsibilities will also include but are not limited to:

• Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting, assisting, and advising customers on equipment, availability, and pricing.

• Maintain the presentation and smooth operation of the branch, including the showroom, yard, and storage areas.

• Inspect, clean, service, and prepare hire equipment to a high standard.

• Coordinate with operations and workshop teams to ensure timely equipment availability and readiness.

• Manage equipment logistics, including safe loading/unloading, deliveries and pickups, and providing safe-use demonstrations to customers.

What We Are Looking For

• Previous experience in the hire, construction industry or a similar customer facing type role.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

• Genuine interest in machinery and equipment (training will be provided).

• Positive attitude and a collaborative team player.

• Proficiency in basic computer applications.

• An LR licence (or higher) and/or a forklift licence will be highly regarded.
