Lead Major Civil & Infrastructure Projects Across Victoria

Applied Group is seeking an experienced Civil Construction Supervisor to take ownership of the delivery of civil, infrastructure and commercial construction projects across metropolitan and regional Victoria.

This is not a role for someone who simply monitors activities from the sidelines.

We are looking for a hands-on construction leader who can drive programmes, coordinate subcontractors, manage resources, solve problems and deliver projects safely, on time and to specification.

You will have the authority and autonomy to run your projects while being supported by an experienced team of Project Managers, Estimators and Engineers.

About the Role

Reporting to senior project leadership, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and successful delivery of civil construction projects ranging from infrastructure upgrades and remediation works through to complex commercial and government projects.

You will lead site teams, subcontractors and suppliers while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, productivity and client satisfaction.

This role suits an experienced Site Supervisor, Construction Supervisor, Foreman or Project Delivery Leader looking for greater responsibility and career progression.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead project delivery from mobilisation through to practical completion.

• Coordinate subcontractors, labour, plant and materials to achieve project milestones.

• Manage multiple work fronts and daily site operations.

• Drive project productivity, programme performance and budget outcomes.

• Maintain strong client, stakeholder and subcontractor relationships.

• Ensure works comply with project specifications, quality requirements and contract obligations.

• Implement and enforce safety systems, SWMS and company procedures.

• Conduct toolbox meetings, site inspections and project reviews.

• Identify and resolve construction issues before they impact programme or cost.

• Manage site records, documentation, reporting and compliance requirements.

• Participate in project planning and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

What We're Looking For

You will be a proven construction leader with the confidence to take ownership of project outcomes.

Essential

• Demonstrated experience supervising civil construction projects.

• Strong understanding of civil, infrastructure and commercial construction activities.

• Experience managing subcontractors and direct labour crews.

• Proven ability to deliver projects safely, on time and within budget.

• Strong knowledge of construction safety requirements and compliance obligations.

• Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to work autonomously and make sound operational decisions.

Highly Regarded

• Civil construction qualifications.

• Project management experience.

• Experience working on government, rail, utility or infrastructure projects.

• First Aid, White Card and relevant industry tickets.
