Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Technician

We're an established family-owned HVAC/R business with a small, experienced team. We value quality workmanship and give our technicians the trust and autonomy to deliver quality outcomes for our clients.

Based in Meadowbrook, QLD, we specialise in commercial refrigeration, air conditioning and mechanical ventilation, working across Brisbane and surrounding areas on a diverse range of commercial and light industrial sites, delivering installation, service, maintenance, repairs and project work.

We have an opportunity for a qualified technician to join our team. We are particularly interested in technicians with 1-5 years' post-trade experience who have a solid technical foundation and are keen to further develop and broaden their skills. More experienced technicians are also encouraged to apply. Above all, we're looking for someone with a good attitude, takes pride in their work and has a desire to continually improve their skills.

You'll work directly with experienced technicians, have a varied range of commercial work and be part of a team where your contribution is genuinely valued.

You will be responsible for:

• Installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems

• Diagnosing faults and completing effective repairs

• System testing, commissioning, and reporting

• Completing service documentation and maintaining accurate job records

• Assisting with job planning, materials, and equipment requirements

• Working with project teams, supervisors, and clients to achieve successful outcomes

• Maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety, and professionalism

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a Qualified Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technician

• Has experience with commercial systems, or has strong residential experience and is keen to transition into commercial work

• Takes pride in producing quality workmanship

• Has strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills

• Is reliable, organised and self-motivated

• Can work independently while being a positive part of a team

• Has good communication skills and a professional approach with customers and colleagues

Essential Qualifications:

• Certificate III in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning

• QBCC Mechanical Services – Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Occupational Licence

• Queensland Restricted Electrical Licence

• Refrigerant Handling Licence (ARCtick)

• Construction White Card

• Manual Driver's Licence
