Aluminium Fabricator Welder

About the role

You will play a vital role in the production and assembly of high-quality fabricated metal products for our diverse range of commercial and industrial clients. This position is based at our workshop in Caboolture on the Northside of Brisbane.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret Drawings & Specifications

• Welding and Fabrication of Various Works with Aluminium

• Operate welding Equipment using MIG & TIG techniques

• Custom Manufacturing

• Polishing / Sanding / Cleaning of assembled Products

• Assembly of Final Products

• Ensuring Quality of Products

About you

• Fabrication Trade - Certificate III in Engineering

• Proficient in both MIG and TIG welding

• Excellent Fabrication and Welding skills - Aluminium and mild steel

• Ability to Interpret Drawings and Specifications

• Proven history in a similar role within a Manufacturing / Fabrication environment

• Knowledge of Metal Fabrication processes including Cutting, Bending, Forming and Fitting

• Excellent Communication Skills

• Ability to work with Minimum Supervision with an Eye for Detail and Commitment to High Quality

• Ability to work both independently and as Part of a Team

• Have a Strong Work Ethic, be Honest and Reliable and Adhere to 'Safe Work Practices' related to the Workshop/s

• Current Australian Forklift License an advantage

• Must have Australian Work Rights with No Restrictions
