PRACTICE NURSE - GENERAL PRACTICE (RN or EEN)

The East Bentleigh Medical Group is a long established, friendly, vibrant and busy family General Practice with a large team of GP's, nurses and administration staff, together with Allied Health and pathology

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) or Endorsed Enrolled Nurse (EEN) to join our wonderful team, in a part time position, 3 days per week, ideally with availability to cover leave as required. We require the successful applicant to have previous experience in general practice nursing.

The hourly rate will be commensurate with experience in the general practice setting and nursing qualification.

We have an excellent work environment with a positive and professional team who are very focused on delivering a high standard of primary care to our patients.

We require the applicant to have excellent communication skills, be enthusiastic and hard working and have the ability to work within our dynamic multidisciplinary team, being well supported by our GP's and experienced practice nurses.

Essential criteria:

• Current registration as per AHPRA requirements

• General Practice nursing experience

• CPR certification

Desirable criteria:

• Nurse immunisation certificate

• Experience with Best Practice software

Job tasks and responsibilities: 

The role will include (but is not limited to):

• Assisting GP's with minor procedures

• Childhood and adult immunisation, travel vaccinations

• Wound care and stock control

• Health assessments

• Chronic Disease Management
