About the role:
Primary School Classroom Teacher

• 1 x full-time ongoing position

• 1 x full-time fixed term position for 2027

• 1 x full-time fixed term Junior Primary position for Semester 1 2027

Commencing January 2027

We are seeking dedicated and passionate Primary School Classroom Teachers to work at our St John’s Campus in Highgate. The positions require the capacity to teach within the framework of the IB Primary Years Programme and the Australian Curriculum. Working collaboratively with year level teams and single subject teachers will be central to the roles in the Primary School.

• build strong, positive, and professional relationships with students, their parents, and their colleagues

• ensure that teaching and learning is facilitated in a safe and inclusive environment, and within the context of the Mission, Vision and Values of the College

• contribute to the design and implementation of engaging learning programs that encourage enthusiasm for learning, underpinned by the College’s Instructional Model and the IB PYP curriculum frameworks

• work collaboratively with year level teams and single subject teachers

Mandatory Requirements

• Hold a South Australian Teachers Registration

• Hold a Working with Children Check.

• Hold a Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care (RRHAN-EC) certification.
