2 AI Developers | Azure AI Foundry & Copilot

We are seeking two experienced AI Developers to join a high-profile digital transformation program focused on delivering innovative AI solutions, automation capabilities and intelligent business tools within a large Federal Government environment.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge Microsoft AI technologies, including Azure AI Foundry, Copilot and AI Agents, helping to drive digital innovation, improve productivity and support enterprise-wide adoption of generative AI.

As an AI Developer, you will design, build, deploy and maintain AI-powered applications, agents and automation solutions using Microsoft Azure AI services and Azure AI Foundry. You will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver secure, scalable and user-focused AI capabilities that create measurable business value.

• Configure and deploy Azure AI Foundry agents tailored to business requirements
• Develop AI solutions supporting document drafting, summarisation, workflow automation and decision support
• Integrate AI agents with enterprise platforms such as SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Outlook and other business systems
• Develop and maintain prompts, workflows, templates and agent configurations to improve usability and performance
• Build and maintain code supporting AI-enabled applications and services
• Ensure AI solutions comply with privacy, security and responsible AI standards
• Support architectural reviews and transition-to-service activities
• Contribute to benefits realisation, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives
• Monitor and evaluate agent performance, adoption and user outcomes
• Support user onboarding, training and change management activities
• Develop learning materials, user guides and documentation
• Provide recommendations to enhance cross-platform functionality and data-driven insights

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

• Experience working with Microsoft Azure AI Foundry, AI Agents and Copilot technologies
• Strong understanding of Azure cloud services and enterprise AI solution delivery
• Hands-on experience integrating AI solutions with enterprise systems and data sources
• Experience configuring and deploying secure and scalable AI applications
• Practical knowledge of generative AI models and prompt engineering
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication capabilities
• Experience delivering user training, workshops or adoption initiatives
• Understanding of responsible and ethical AI practices, including bias and governance considerations

• Demonstrated proficiency in configuring AI tools using Microsoft Foundry
• Experience tailoring AI agents to meet business and user requirements
• Proven capability integrating AI agents with enterprise platforms while maintaining security and scalability
• Experience supporting change management and adoption strategies for AI technologies

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline
• Microsoft Azure certifications or equivalent cloud certifications
• Experience administering Azure AI or Foundry environments

• Position: AI Developer (2 positions available)
• Contract Length: Initial 12-month contract
• Extension Option: Up to 12-month extension available
• Start Date: September 2026
• Location: ACT
• Working Arrangement: Hybrid (typically 2 to 3 days in the office per week)
• Hours: Up to 40 hours per week
• Security Clearance: Must hold a Baseline Security Clearance
