About the role
Not every leadership role is about stepping into something perfect.
Sometimes it's about stepping into something with potential.
At Schools Plus Yarrabilba, we're looking for a Service Manager who is excited by the opportunity to build, inspire and create something special.
This service currently supports around 50 children in Before School Care, 70 children in After School Care and 50 children during Vacation Care. It's a service with strong foundations, a growing community and a real opportunity for the right leader to make their mark.
We're looking for someone who sees possibility.
Someone who can build relationships, develop people, create great experiences for children and bring a team together around a shared vision.
Because at Our Patch Group, we're on a journey.
We're investing in quality, strengthening our services and building a culture where children feel connected, families feel confident and educators feel supported to do their best work.
If the idea of helping shape a service excites you more than simply maintaining one, we'd love to talk.
This is a role for a leader who enjoys building.
You'll have the opportunity to influence culture, strengthen quality, develop your team and create experiences that reflect the needs and interests of the children and families you serve.
You'll be backed by leaders who are invested in your success and committed to creating great services together.
About the RoleAs Service Manager, you'll lead the day-to-day operations of the service while creating an environment where children, families and educators feel connected, valued and supported.
You'll work closely with your team to deliver engaging experiences that inspire curiosity, creativity, confidence and belonging.
Key responsibilities include:
Most importantly, you'll help create a service where children can explore, discover, play and thrive.
You're not afraid of a challenge.
You understand that great services aren't built overnight and that the most rewarding leadership opportunities are often the ones where you can see the impact you've made.
You'll bring:
Most importantly, you're someone who believes every child deserves a place where they feel safe, connected and inspired.
About Our PatchAt Our Patch, we believe children deserve more than supervision.
They deserve places filled with connection, belonging, creativity and wonder.
We're building services that families trust, children love and educators are proud to be part of.
And we're looking for leaders who want to help us do it.
Child Safety CommitmentOur Patch is committed to being a Child Safe Organisation. The safety, wellbeing and inclusion of children is our highest priority.
We have zero tolerance for child abuse and are committed to creating environments where children feel safe, respected, valued and heard. All team members share responsibility for promoting and protecting the safety and wellbeing of children.
Successful applicants will be required to complete relevant screening checks, including Working with Children Checks, referee checks and other compliance requirements.
Diversity, Equity & InclusionAt Our Patch, we celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive workplace where everyone belongs.
We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds, cultures, identities, abilities and experiences. We strongly encourage applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, people with disability, culturally and linguistically diverse communities and members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
Together, we're creating places where children, families and educators can thrive.
