About the role
Our client is a leading real estate and finance group seeking to recruit a banking & finance legal and admin assistant to join its high performing team in Melbourne.
You will provide support on the full-suite of documentation and processes involved in the settlement of property loans / mortgages. This is a highly-business facing position and you'll work closely with different departments internally and also external stakeholders such as banks, and solicitors for counterparties.
You will work on matters for their full life cycle, from approval through to settlement and then funding. You'll be an experienced finance / settlements assistant with strong knowledge of mortgage / property loan documentation and ideally the PEXA settlement process.
This position is offered on a full-time basis, and requires an on-site presence in the office 5 days per week to work closely with the business and other members of the legal team.
