If you have a passion for fashion, excellent customer service skills, and a proven track record in sales, we want to hear from you!The Role:As a Casual Sales Assistant you are responsible for the day-to-day operations of the store. We are on the hunt for a team member that is committed to delivering a level of customer service that surpasses expectations. The successful application will be available to work a set roster that includes both weekdays and weekends.Duties:Provide exceptional customer service: Greet customers warmly, assist them in finding the perfect sunglasses to suit their needs and style, and offer product recommendations.Achieve sales targets: Utilize your sales expertise to drive revenue and meet or exceed individual and team sales targets.Build and maintain customer relationships: Develop a deep understanding of customers' preferences and needs to provide personalized recommendations and ensure repeat business.Product knowledge: Stay up to date with the latest sunglass trends, brand offerings, and product features to effectively communicate their benefits to customers.Merchandising and visual presentation: Assist with maintaining an appealing and organized store environment by arranging displays, and ensuring cleanliness.Cash handling and POS operations: Accurately process sales transactions, handle cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment, and maintain a balanced cash register.Inventory management: Assist in managing stock levels, including receiving and checking deliveries, performing stock takes, and ensuring proper pricing and labeling.Upselling and cross-selling: Identify opportunities to enhance customers' purchases by suggesting complementary products.Adhere to policies and procedures: Follow all company policies, including but not limited to, security, health and safety, and customer service guidelines.Perks:Wonderful team cultureTeam building eventsTraining providedWork autonomouslyIncentives and bonus structuresWho We Are Looking For:You have previous retail sales experience, ideally within the retail, fashion or accessories industry in a similar, fast paced environment.You have outstanding interpersonal skills: Friendly & honest demeanor with a bubbly, outgoing personality.You have excellent communication skills: Ability to communicate product information convincingly & with confidence, handle customer inquiries, and negotiate sales.You are a fast learner with the right attitude, drive & willingness to learn.You have a high-level attention to detail.You have the ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative as well as a willingness to collaborate with colleagues and contribute to a positive team culture.You have flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to meet the needs of the business.You have a keen interest in retail, sunglasses, and the ability to stay up to date with the latest fashion trends.You are motivated by sales targets and consistently striving to achieve and exceed them.You possess basic computer skills: Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and other retail software is preferred.How To Apply:Join our team and be part of a vibrant and customer-focused environment where your sales skills, passion for fashion, and sunny personality will shine.
