Head of Year

Position Details: 

Lumen Christi College is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic leader to join our College as Head of Year. As a Middle Leader, you will embrace our College Vision for Learning, Discover Together, which challenges us to inspire excellence within a welcoming community. Leaders are encouraged to work collaboratively, focusing on providing learning environments which are engaging and challenging, so students can develop a strong desire to achieve their personal best and be prepared for lifelong learning, guided by the Light of Christ.

Position Description:

This is a full-time, ongoing position commencing 1 January 2027.

Selection Criteria:

Essential

The successful applicant will have:

·         Have a 4-year teaching qualification

·         Support the Catholic ethos in the performance of their duties as a member of the Lumen Christi College community

·         Possess, or be willing to obtain, Accreditation for Middle Leaders in a Catholic School

·         Have a commitment to innovation and continuous improvement to support the College’s mission and goals

·         Be involved in the full life of the College, including participation in the extra-curricular program

·         Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Desirable

The successful applicant will have:

·         Have experience in a similar role.
