What your day could look like

As a Human Resources Advisor, you'll help create positive workplace experiences across Darling Downs Health. Partnering with leaders and teams, you'll provide practical guidance, support workforce success and contribute to a culture where people feel valued, capable and connected.

Every day, you'll contribute by:

• Providing trusted HR advice that helps leaders manage people matters confidently and effectively.
• Working collaboratively with stakeholders to resolve workforce challenges and strengthen workplace relationships.
• Supporting initiatives that improve people management practices, capability and employee experience.
• Using insights and sound judgement to deliver solutions that support organisational goals and positive workforce outcomes.

You're an approachable and capable HR professional who enjoys helping people navigate challenges and find practical solutions. You build trust through clear communication, balanced advice and genuine collaboration. Whether you're supporting a leader through a complex issue or contributing ideas that improve workplace practices, you take pride in creating positive outcomes that make a lasting difference. You're motivated by purpose, embrace continuous improvement and bring integrity to every interaction.

Here's what will help you thrive in this role:

• Experience providing HR advice in a complex service environment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a solutions-focused approach.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• The ability to manage competing priorities while delivering high-quality outcomes.

You'll stand out from the crowd if you have qualifications in Human Resources, Management or a related field and/or experience in industrial relations or payroll environments.
