Breakfast Cook/Chef

Cos Baby in Freo is on the hunt for an experienced and enthusiastic breakfast chef to join our expanding team.

We're a busy little cafe in the heart of Fremantle, looking for someone friendly, efficient, reliable and with attention to detail. Our kitchen is open 7am-2pm daily, serving brunch from our menu, and snacks from the cabinet.

The job includes:

• Preparing and cooking a variety of brunch dishes from our menu, ensuring presentation and promptness.

• Ensuring display cabinet is kept stocked, including any baking required.

• Ensuring food items are stored, handled, prepared and served in accordance with Food Safety Standards.

• Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment, managing stock rotation and daily ordering.

Fixed working hours available, but must be available to work both weekend days. This position offers 34-40 hours per week.

Candidates must have:

• A minimum of 2+ years cooking experience.

• Strong breakfast cooking skills include egg cookery, pancakes, grill operation, food prep, and cabinet food preparation.

• The ability to work independently, as well as part of the team on busier days.

• Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.

• A commitment to Food Safety, and adherence to all Food Handling Standards.
