About the role

We are growing our team and are seeking an experienced and dynamic Event Manager to join our team. As an Event Manager, you will be responsible for planning and executing a wide range of events across our portfolio of event spaces. From weddings to corporate functions and social gatherings, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that each event is flawlessly executed, leaving a lasting impression on our clients and their guests.

You will be responsible for:

• Collaborate with clients to understand their event requirements and vision.

• Plan and coordinate all aspects of events, including logistics, catering, décor, styling, and entertainment.

• Manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial guidelines.

• Liaise with vendors and negotiate contracts to secure services and products.

• Oversee event set-up, execution, and breakdown, ensuring a smooth and seamless execution with the operations team delivering an exceptional experience for clients and guests.

• Provide on-site leadership during events to address any issues and ensure client satisfaction.

• Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and team members to enhance the overall event experience.

• Stay current on industry trends and innovative event planning strategies.

About you

You will be passionate about delivering experiences that exceed the guests’ expectations. In addition, you will have:

• Proven experience as an Event Manager in a hospitality environment.

• Experience in event planning weddings, corporate and social events.

• Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with strong attention to detail.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Proficient in event management software, Monday.com and Microsoft Office Suite.

• A creative mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional events.

• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
