Secondary Science Teacher.  

Permanent Full-time, commencing Term 1 2027

Key Responsibilities:

Are you a passionate, innovative Science teacher ready to make a real impact? We are seeking an exceptional and engaging Secondary Science teacher, with a strong ability to teach Chemistry ATAR. Be part of a thriving school consistently recognised for excellent ATAR results, a range of VET and Certificate courses, and a focus on guiding students to reach their full potential.

Duties:

• Plan and deliver Science lessons to Secondary students, creating a stimulating and supportive classroom environment, including Chemistry ATAR classes.
• Prepare and implement effective assessments to track and report on student progress.
• Differentiate lessons to meet the diverse needs of our students, ensuring all learners are supported and challenged.
• Communicate effectively with parents, guardians and colleagues regarding student progress.

Essential Requirements:

• Current registration with the WA Teachers Registration Board
• Knowledge and experience of the WA Science Curriculum.
• Experience teaching Chemistry ATAR.

Desirable Requirements:

• Experience teaching Science at Secondary levels, with an emphasis on Chemistry.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Evidence of providing a differentiated curriculum.
• Willingness to contribute to wider school programs, including co-curricular, camps or other school-based activities.

Relevant qualification and experiences will be accepted.  Applicants will also need a valid Working with Children card (or willingness to obtain one).
