Nominated Supervisor

About the business

We are currently seeking an experienced, motivated and passionate Nominated Supervisor to run the daily operations of our beautiful service and ensure the delivery of exceptional educational programs. It is a small boutique style Centre. We have 3 rooms and two large outdoor play area. It is a maternity leave position. Our centre has a homely feel and it is very warm and welcoming.

About the role

• Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the centre and ensuring high quality program and environment is provided to the children and educators.

• Managing the budgets and financials of the center.

• Developing strong and positive relationships with the community, children and the families.

• Ensuring the Child Safe Environment is maintained

• Ability to supervise, mentor and train staff. 

• Creating a safe and stimulating and positive environment for the development of children.

• Implement and monitor health, safety and risk management strategies.  

• Maintain positive and professional relationships with the team members.

• Managing the compliance of the service in relation to National Law and Regulations.

Skills and experience

1.  Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education.

2. Knowledge of EYLF and NQS

3. Strong leadership and management qualities

4. Previous experience in management of the serviced

5. Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificate

6. strong understanding of a Child Protection Training and Child Safe Environment.

7. Good Communication Skills and Ability to work in a team environment.

8. Current Working with Children Check

9. Sound knowledge and understanding of Child Protection
