The Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Site Manager to join our growing team for a multi-year Federal Government Project. This role is suited to someone with a strong background in commercial construction who thrives on delivering complex, high-performance projects in dynamic environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing and coordinating day-to-day site operations,

• Ensuring works are completed in line with project programs, budgets and specifications,

• Supervising subcontractors and site personnel to maintain productivity and quality,

• Monitoring and enforcing work health and safety requirements on site,

• Ensuring site presentation, cleanliness and compliance with statutory requirements,

• Coordinating plant, materials and resources to meet project timelines,

• Supporting procurement and subcontractor engagement processes,

• Communicating effectively with Project Managers, Subcontractors and stakeholders,

• Identifying and reporting variations, risks and project issues,

• Assisting with progress claims, site records and project documentation,

• Conducting site meetings, toolbox talks and safety briefings,

• Maintaining strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders.

About You

• Minimum 10 year's experience in commercial site management within the construction industry,

• Proven track record managing commercial projects of varying complexity,

• Strong leadership and organisational skills with a hands-on approach,

• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities,

• Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and quality outcomes,

• Certificate or qualification in Construction or a related field (preferred),

• Relevant certifications (White Card, First Aid, Asbestos Awareness and Silica).
