Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a talented and passionate Consultant – Engagement and Communication in our Melbourne Office.

Support strategic engagement and communication initiatives across infrastructure, environmental and energy projects.

You will work closely with clients to prepare communities for change and draw on GHD’s global expertise to address the challenges of complex projects.

Working with a high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

Supporting the development of tactical public relations campaigns and communication plansSupporting the development and implementation of stakeholder and community engagement plans across a diverse range of GHD projects and the industries we supportStrengthening client relationships across existing accounts and identifying new growth areasContributing to proposals and submissions for new opportunitiesBriefing stakeholders on project progress, status and key updatesPreparing and delivering social planning assessmentsSupporting community consultation, facilitation and communication activities

What would you bring to the team?

Relevant qualifications in a related discipline, or equivalent transferable experienceA strong focus on client service and quality deliveryThe ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities and stay organisedClear and confident communication skillsThe confidence to work independently and part of a teamSound judgement and the ability to make considered decisions
