Procurement Manager - Fertiliser & Chemicals

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead the sourcing and procurement of fertilisers, crop protection products, seed treatments, and other agricultural inputs, ensuring supply security, commercial value, and regulatory compliance across our farming operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategies for fertilisers, chemicals, adjuvants, and other key crop inputs.
• Monitor fertiliser and crop protection markets to identify opportunities, risks, and purchasing strategies.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers, distributors, and industry partners.
• Collaborate closely with Farm Managers, Agronomists, and Operations teams to forecast input requirements.
• Manage procurement budgets and identify opportunities to improve cost efficiencies without compromising product quality or performance.
• Ensure timely availability of products to support operational requirements throughout the growing season.
• Oversee inventory planning and stock management to minimise shortages and excess inventory.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, chemical handling requirements, and company procurement policies.

About You

The ideal candidate will bring:

• Proven experience in procurement, category management, or supply chain management within agriculture, fertiliser, chemicals, or agribusiness.
• Strong understanding of fertiliser products, crop protection chemicals, agricultural inputs, and associated supply chains.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess market trends, supplier performance, and purchasing opportunities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Proficiency in procurement systems, inventory management, and Microsoft Office applications.
